Casa Labra is more than just a restaurant; it’s a piece of Madrid’s history. Founded in 1860, this family-run establishment has maintained its legacy of serving simple yet exceptional Spanish cuisine. Its signature Soldaditos de Pavía—crispy, golden-fried cod bites—and its famous croquetas de bacalao have been delighting locals and visitors for generations. With an old-world charm and a no-frills approach to quality ingredients, Casa Labra is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic taste of Madrid’s culinary heritage.

FAQ's
can you book a table if its a large group?
You can and should make reservations, but the real experience (and my recommendation) is at the front where no reservations are needed. It's a casual come and go place. You eat croquetas and have your cañas standing and chatting. In Spring and Summer there are a few tables and stools outside.
Can I pay by card?
Yes, no problem paying by card.
